Sergio Ramos was named as Spain's UNICEF ambassador. The Real Madrid player was recognised for his continued work with UNICEF to help the most vulnerable of children since 2007. He has visited programs set up to help children survive in Senegal, led and played in the 'Champions for Africa' and 'Champions for Life' charity games, has lent his support to video campaigns and on social media, and has also sold personal belongings to raise funds.

Usually Sergio Ramos spend their vacations working with UNICEF,

Sergio Ramos was born on March 30, 1986 in Camas, Seville, Andalusia. Sergio began climbing the football Olympus at the age of 14. It was then when he went ahead trial to the nearby Sevilla FC and indicated himself as an extremely determined and equipped protector. And it was then that he joined the youth team and began to appear on the pitch regularly.

In 2004, Sergio Ramos was elevated to the group's prevailing squad where he played 25 matches and figured out how to score once.  Same year Sergio made his first debut in La Liga and became the UEFA Euro U19 champion. In 2004 Ramos became an instant hit for Spain's under-21, for whom he played six international matches. 

In March 2005, Sergio played his first match for the Spain national team and he appeared for the senior side at only 18 years and 361 days of age, making him the youngest player to play for the national team in the last 55 years. Just seven months later, Ramos scored his first two international goals, He was selected for the final stages in Germany in 2006 FIFA World Cup, Ramos got a place in the main squad and played a key role as a defender of the national team.

Ramos was selected in the squad for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup in South Africa, as Spain finished in third position, Many great football clubs of the world wanted to have him on their roster, however, only Real Madrid did not begrudge money and got a talented and devoted player in return. Last year, Sergio signed a new contract with the club according to which he will be with Real Madrid till 2017 and will get 4.5 million euros a season. 

Sergio Ramos is one of most best universal defence player. He is having a good speed and plays well with his head and also excellent at winning the ball. ,mostly his main position is wingback, but recently coaches actively use him as central defender and box-to-box midfielder. Sergio Ramos played more than 300 matches in different competitions, managed to win gold medals of the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Euro. The majority of Sergio’s goals were jumping headers under pressure which is no wonder for a defender of good height.
