Lionel Messi

The Mission of Leo Messi Foundation is to support youths who are in high risk circumstances all over the world. Leo Messi has been motivated to create this Foundation with the idea that all children should have the same opportunities for making their dreams come true. Since 2007 the foundation has worked tirelessly to touch as many lives as possible. With the support of his family he has been able to make his dreams a reality through this foundation.

The foundation has been successful in Argentina with setting up social centers, fighting and treating Chagas disease and also building and maintaining a school. They have also built a playground in Barcelona for children living in and visiting the Hospital Vall d’Hebron and funded scholarships for cancer research there. Leo, as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, has also personally visited many children in Haiti and all over the world to highlight their challenges and provide support and hope for the future.
